March'in on with Marvin

It has been too long since I have written to you. Marvin has had a problem with spasms and has been to both the Chas and Augusta Va searching for an answer. One possability is that he doen't get enought oxygen at night and Augusta gave him one such study that shows some problem. He is in Augusta for a 2nd week to work on his new muscle strength and change his power chair so that he can drive with his hand instead of his chin. This is a big and wonderful change and we rejoice in it. Many friends have prayed that he would be able to just scratch his nose and then maybe hold a spoon. we are much closer to that now!
We went to a movie last night in augusta and it was great to see him excited about what maybe happening. I have been teaching in Columbia while he was in Augusta and was planning to bring him home when they asked him to stay and work on these new movements they were seeing. I will go back on Friday to bring him home and we hope for even more strength to come back to his arms.
Tonight at our church supper so many wonderful friends asked about Marvin and offered to help when I have knee surgery in April. We are blessed with so many friends who pray with us and give of their time and talents to help us keep our sanity. We thank you forkeeping us in your prayers and lifting us up when we have been so worried about Marvin's progress
May God's peace be with you

God bless you
