Wednesday is moving day

Dear Friends
Marvin is in the ambulance for the VA. We will need your prayers as we start this new journey. He is still having breathing problems abd nausea but hope the VA can help us find the cause. There have been so many times that we have seen God at work in this illness and I will have to write about this more. Right now I am leaving to follow the ambulance to our new home away from home and new friends to meet. He and I are so grateful for each of you. Until have have the way to write to you again I head out for Augusta.

Cathie and Marvin,
Our prayers are with you on this ride, let's hope it is a further "road to recovery" - pun fully intended! I studied a map of Georgia and South Carolina, and while it looks like Augusta is lots closer to Charleston, I haven't a clue how the roads work out. But I'll bet Trey and Laura figure it out pretty quick!
love, Phillis

Hopefully you and Marvin have safely arrived in Augusta by now. We all hope and pray for progress in this new facility. I will tell all the choir about your move, tonight. I know they all wish for the best for you both, and send their prayers in advance for them.

Cathie,

I hope you had an uneventful trip. Please change the spelling on Marvin's hat to Big Dawg! It will get him extra special treatment in GA.

Marvin, Billy and I continue to pray for your recovery as you and Cathie settle into VA. While my prayer group was praying your physical issues on Sunday, we received these thoughts for you: 1. Give your full attention to God and your relationship with him. Do not consentrate on symptoms you are experiencing. Life is confidence in God while fear is living death. 2.Let the words of the scripture become alive from your mouth. Speak out loud confomation for your belief in God's power to heal you. God's word can not come back void. Speak actual healing scripture.3. Claim your status as a Christian head of your family. Use your authority and tell God how important it is to you, Cathie and all for you to be whole physically. Tell him all you want to do in Jesus name with your experience, skills, and talents. God's plan for you is good. pray your requests, then visualize like the ball player who puts to ball through the hoop over and over in his mind before the game. He sees himself in the position before he's there. He can manifest during the game on the court what he has visualized into reality. Take that in little steps and also long range vision. Don't give up to discouragement. It is the devils' favorite tool to keep us from completing God's plans. Billy and I visualize you as a medical missionary for God in the next phase of your career. Believe for it. Visualize it. Finally, pray for others. They (and we) need your prayer as much as you need the prayers of those concerned for your complete recovery. Remember how much your little mother loves you and Billy. As soon as Cathie sends the new address, I'll send more CDs. Cathie, take care of yourself. We know these are challenging times but nothing is too big for our God. Love, Mary Elizabeth and Billy

Dear Marvin and Cathie, Glad to see the post and will be thinking about you on your new journey to recovery. I marvel at the strength of your spirit. Katie is fine. She is eating well and seems comfortable with the other dogs. Sometimes she looks at me and seems to be asking where are my mom and dad. I tell her that they love her and will be home soon. Do not worry about her. She is welcome at my house as long as it takes for Marvin to recover. God speed. Love, Pal
