Saturday Morn

Dear Friends
We are in a wait and see place now with testing. He had a test done this morning to find oout the time it takes for his stomach to empty. This will let them know one poss cause for the nausea and weight loss. He is still on breathing machines and having a tough time getting his breath. This burns too many calories and he continues to lose the pounds. So much is know that isn't wrong but we still don't have a answer to how to get him better physically. His progress in movement has stopped because of this and this makes him anxious. Please pray for his peace of mind and courage as these things slowly resolve. We received some wonderful cards yesterday and tomorrow celebrate our 34 wedding aniversary. Hold us close in your prayers this weekend.
God Bless you all
CAthie

Dear Cathie and Marvin,
Many blessings during your 34th anniversary!!! I bet you know this hymn:

O PERFECT LOVE
Words, Dorothy B. Gurney, 1883

O perfect Love, all human thought transcending,
Lowly we kneel in prayer before thy throne,
That theirs may be the love which knows no ending,
Whom thou forevermore dost join in one.

O perfect Life, be thou their full assurance,
Of tender charity and steadfast faith,
Of patient hope and quiet brave endurance,
With childlike trust that fears no pain nor death.

Grant them the joy which brightens earthly sorrow;
Grant them the peace which calms all earthly strife,
And to life's day the glorious unknown morrow
That dawns upon eternal love and life.
Amen.

Love,
Happy

Dear Marvin and Cathie,
I hated that I couldn't come visit with Bob and Rusty yesterday. Hopefully I can make it for the next trip. You guys are in our thoughts and prayers daily. And not just the two of us...Marvin, the whole Flowertown office asks about you often. Hang in there! You are loved and greatly missed. Kim Mallin

Good Morning Cathie and Marvin, Congradulations on celebrating 34 years of committment. I went by your home the other day to give Trey some information. He was on his cell when arrived, so I got some water. While I was filling my cup, I noticed this picture of the two of you on the fridge. Cathie, your face was just glowing and Marvin, you were looking at Cathie with eyes filled with the greatest admiration. I had seen that picture another time, but it just stayed in my mind this time. No truer phrase than, "a picture says a thousand words". That picture spoke volumes of your love and dedication to each other. We should all only be so blessed. Rest in God's strength today and let him work hard so that you can get your strength back. Love, Elizabeth

Big Dog, Happy Anniversary! I remember because I was there. Strange all I remember is something about disparunia(sp) written on your car outside of the columbia womens club. jane and I are pulling for you and know you are going to make a full recovery. Anyone who can sit on a bus to california for 86 hours has to be tough. Before you know it we ll be ready for touch football on the horse lot. I will even call Priestly!Trying to get ready for Elizabeths wedding. I got the easy job, show up, shut up and write the check! What a deal. Saw Neely/Nick the other night. Take care.
