Sunday Night

I enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving at the Murdaugh's! Mandy cooked one of the best turkeys I've ever had. And there were more side dishes than you could count!

The house is quite busy as everyone is preparing to bring Dr. Murdaugh home. We all look forward to having him back in Charleston. We are currently working at the VA to make final plans and adjustments to his care plan. - Laura

Thanksgiving came off well. We had a great turn-out from friends and family. Sandy , Marianne, Clay, Aunt Sarah and Ed came in from the upstate. There presence made the day and helped to cushion the work load. Kristen, Michael, and Elizabeth Brackett also contributed to the festivities. Cathie, Mandy and myself are dealing with logistics of med distribution and care management for Dad. We hope to get our schedule and regiment polished.
Thankyou for all the support from those near and far. Your encouragement and prayers have been a great blessing. - Trey

Reading the blog fills me with hope and joy as you all work together to bring Marvin home.
We have been out of touch... in Tasmania and are now must go to spend 2 weeks in Texas with my Father who is extremely ill.
Please know that we have kept you in our hearts and thoughts. We can't wait to come over to your house for a visit. Hopefully we can be home before Christmas and do just that!
Love,
Chip and Marty

OK, Marvin, this is a blast from the past!! This is Wesie, yup, old Wesie Rivers from next door....just heard about your accident, and found out about this blog.........so sorry for all you are going through, but know that if anyone can do it, it will be you. As I recall, PERSISTANT would be one of the words used to describe you!

Nat and I are living on Sullivans Island in the old beach house now, and loving it.......older, greyer (me, not him!), and involved with grandchildren. Mother is still kicking, at 96.....and mean as ever!

Here's wishing you a quick trip home, and more and more recovery. Keep in touch!

Big prayers wafting your way, Wesie
