Family Conference
Cathy relayed to me this morning that the Family Conference the Murdaugh's had with the Dr.s at the VA went well. Although Marvin is very weak, his nerves are firing so the Doctors think there is a lot to work with.
His nausia is still a problem, but there are now two possibilities they are exploring.
Marvin is very happy to announce that your cards are again finding their way to him.
For future cards, his new address is:
Cathy said that Marvin is back to his determined self and this will be critical in the coming months at the VA.

- The nausia may be a side effect of one of his medications. OR
- The nausia may be related to slowness in the digestive track caused by the paralysis.

I am glad to hear that you are back to your"determined" self! That, along with God's healing touch will bring you through this time.
I have your website on my list of favorites, so that I can check in on you daily! You may not recognize me, as I go to the early service at HVPC.

Dear Bubba:
Miami will be playing at Florida State on ABC tv tomorrow night (Monday, Labor Day) at 8 PM. I hope that you might be able to watch some of it. Miami has a lot of new starters this year and they could be really good or they might not be, I'll know after the game. I have been really looking forward to it. Miami plays at Clemson on Saturday of the next week. It will probably be on tv, also. Mother is doing very well. Your last update, yesterday, (Saturday) sounds very hopeful. I know that with prayer and your hard work, you will fully recover. I'll write to you again, soon.
