UPDATE SATURDAY MORNING JULY 23
Spoke to Cathie on the way out door . She said that Marvin now has the feeding tube and the operation went well. He is resting in bed this morning and that they both really enjoyed our posts to the blog last evening. She stayed late and that is why I could not get her on the cell phone. Lets keep the prayers and encouragement coming as they work. More later as I learn more.

It is great to be able to check your progress by internet each day. That helps us feel like we are not so far away. We are thrilled about your increasing movements - great job! We hope that the infection goes away quickly so you can resume your hard work. Vacation Bible School was last week and the ramp team was asked to help on Tuesday night. Two of the older boys helped build a ramp section, and the other children built bird houses. Brian cut the pieces (all 280 of them) and Marty Webber and Charlie Sumner helped drill the holes. Several ramp team members came to help, and it was so much fun seeing them help the little ones (3,4,&5 year olds) swing those hammers! Tradd and Sarah moved into their apartment last weekend, so we are empty nesters once again. It is really quiet- too quiet. Keep up that good work, and we will be thinking of you and praying for you.
