April 2 No fool'in
Marvin is home and he is able to use his right hand to operate his chair! He is happy to be home with family and friends and home cooked meals. Thank you to so many who called and to Bill who visited him in Augusta. He went to an ice hockey game while at the VA and said the hight light was watching his therapist try to play skate board hockey! We have hopes to getting more therapy at home with the VA so that his progress can continue. I have out-patient surgery tomorrow so we shall be out of commission for abit.
Progress is slow but it is progress! Please pray for us to have the needed patience as it is so hard to watch Marvin struggle with his movements.

Spoke to Cathie and Marvin on Friday evening and Cathie was really having post operation blues as she was still in a good deal of pain and now was immobile herself.
Asked if she wanted me to come down from the upstate and help take care but she said the kids would be in soon and they should be able to cope with the help of family and friends. I'm getting ready for Church but I hope everyone will remember these lovely people in our prayer lists and if you have a minute give them a call or drop by as I know they need all the support we can give them.
